Sonya and Biff came to Lucky Girl for additional support in planning their son and soon-to-be-daughter-in-law’s pre-wedding brunch for family and guests in town.

Hosting a pre-wedding celebration brunch at their home for in-town friends + family
Guest list roughly 45 people
Some guests have dietary restrictions - priority on food options
Would love fresh baked goods from a local bakery as a personal touch
Offering a brunch buffet line with light decor
Wanted a casual but warm morning to enjoy time with friends and new family where it felt like everything just happened to be there, but didn’t want to be in awareness of it “happening”
Lucky Girl loves a brunch, especially when fresh baked goods are involved! Our team had so much fun collaborating on this event. The client was upfront about the things they wanted to be present (menu selections) and also shared the things they didn’t mind not being involved on (decor choices, set up, etc). We love hearing what a client wants and doesn’t care about - it’s all very helpful information for us. There will always be things that a host is particular on and that’s a great thing! The rest is for our team to make sure it’s taken care of in a seamless way so all guests are taken care of and all needs are anticipated.
This collaboration started as a Party Kit and evolved into a mid-size event based as the event itself evolved (surprising to some - everyone wanted to come to brunch!). This was a simple transition for us. Rachel built out the timeline of events, menu orders and pickups (including fresh blueberry scones from a local baker - this really stood out to the guests), and ordered all decor three weeks before the event. As the RSVP’s rolled in two weeks before the event, we brought on a local on-site team member to help the afternoon before the event and morning-of to fine tune all decor and last minute details.
